Account Deletion Policy

This policy explains how to delete your STAG account, what happens after you confirm deletion, and which limited records may be retained.

1. How to request deletion

  1. Open STAG and go to Settings.
  2. Select Delete My Account and review the deletion notice.
  3. Confirm the request. STAG will send a one-time verification code.
  4. Enter the code in the app to complete the deletion request.

For security, we may require account verification before processing a deletion request. Do not share your verification code with anyone.

2. Recovery period

After you confirm deletion, your account remains recoverable for 30 days. Contact info@stag.org.in during this period if you want to retain your account. Recovery may require verification of account ownership.

3. Permanent deletion

After the 30-day recovery period, your account is permanently removed and cannot be restored. Your profile, plans, requests, chats, and other personal account data are removed or anonymized where technically and legally appropriate.

4. Information we may retain

We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, protect user safety, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or maintain required business and security records. Retained information is limited to the purpose for which it is kept and is protected under our Privacy Policy.

5. Help with deletion

If you cannot access the app or need help with a deletion request, contact info@stag.org.in. Include the email address or phone number registered to your STAG account. Never send your password or one-time verification code.
